This policy explains how Super Simplified ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you use our AI Answer Evaluation service at https://upscsupersimplified.com/evaluation/. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name and email address (and basic Google profile details if you sign in with Google).
- Your answers: the answer copies (PDFs) you upload, the question, paper and marks you enter, and the evaluation we produce.
- Payment details: payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive the order and payment reference and the amount, but never your card, UPI PIN or bank details.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and cookies, including the Meta Pixel (see section 4).
2. How we use it
- To create your account, log you in (one-time email codes) and provide evaluations.
- To process payments, activate your plan and send receipts and evaluation emails.
- To answer your support requests and improve our marking rubric and service.
- To measure our advertising (section 4).
3. AI processing
Your answer copy is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), only to generate your evaluation. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models. An evaluator from our team may review your copy and the AI's marks before release.
4. Cookies and advertising
We use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to understand which ads bring students to us. This shares events such as sign-up and purchase with Meta, together with your email address in hashed (encrypted, one-way) form. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings and your Facebook/Instagram ad preferences.
5. Who we share it with
Only with service providers who help us run the service: Razorpay (payments), Anthropic (AI evaluation), Meta (ad measurement), our web host and email provider. We do not sell your data. We will not publish your answer copy or name without your permission.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account and answer copies while your account is active and for up to 12 months after your last activity, then delete them. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by contacting us below. Deleting your account removes your copies and evaluations.
8. Children
The service is meant for adults preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. If you are under 18, use it only with a parent's or guardian's consent.
9. Grievances and contact
For any privacy question or complaint, contact our grievance officer at:
