Blasting Gelatin
●Gelignite also known as blasting gelatin or simply jelly, is an explosive material consisting of collodion-cotton (a type of nitrocellulose or guncotton).
●It is dissolved in either nitroglycerine or nitroglycol and mixed with wood pulp and saltpetre (sodium nitrate or potassium nitrate).
●It is a powerful water-resistant blasting explosive.

Mahadayi/Mandovi River

●It is also known as Mahadayi or Mhadei river, is described as the lifeline of the Indian state of Goa.
●The Mandovi and the Zuari are the two primary rivers in the state of Goa.
●Mandovi joins with the Zuari at a common creek at Cabo Aguada, forming the Mormugao harbour. 
●It originates from a cluster of 30 springs at Bhimgad in the Western Ghats in the Belagavi district of Karnataka.

NEMMP
●The National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP) 2020 is a National Mission document providing the vision and the roadmap for the faster adoption of electric vehicles and their manufacturing in the country.
●There is an ambitious target to achieve 6-7 million sales of hybrid and electric vehicles year on year from 2020 onwards.

Fiscal Deficit
●Fiscal Deficit is the difference between the total income of the government (total taxes and non-debt capital receipts) and its total expenditure. 
●It is an indication of the total borrowings needed by the government.
●India’s fiscal deficit is at a target of 6.8% of GDP for the year ending March 2022, while for the current financial year it is estimated to jump to 9.5% – nearly thrice the government’s target of 3.5% set before the pandemic struck.

●IMI 3.0 will be the children and pregnant women who have missed their vaccine doses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
●They will be identified and vaccinated during the two rounds of IMI 3.0. Each round will be for 15 days each.  
●Beneficiaries from migration areas and hard to reach areas will be targeted as they may have missed their vaccine doses during COVID19.
